CASTLE
Dating back to the 13th
century when it was a royal stronghold, Robert the Bruce and Edward 1
visited here, a fine example of a richly decorated castle with 17th
century tapestries and paintings, this is one of Scotland’s great
Baronial fortress palace.

CASTLE
With its oldest part being built in
the 13th century, the tower is one of the oldest in Scotland.
In the 17th century a new Mansion was built alongside the old
tower and the 9th laird of Drum moved in, with additional
buildings being added in the 19th century.

Built in the 16th
century by the Burnett family, this is an exceptional castle sitting in
extensive gardens, the castle features impressive painted ceilings that
date back to the 16th and 17th centuries, plus
many walks around the surrounding estate.

This fairytale style
castle was built in the 17th century by William Forbes, the
castle served as a stately home and has all the features of a castle
with turrets and towers, and it’s interior is a fine example of the
period. |

FRASER
Built in the 16th century by the
Fraser family, it has a large Z plan tower house with two projected
wings that form a court yard, Michael Fraser began the construction of
the castle but died before he finished, leaving his son, Andrew Fraser
to finish it, and in 1633 he became the first lord Fraser of Castle
Fraser. |
